I found this place on Taste Atlas. Score! The Kata Kat is very tasty! We paid 2700 for a plate (enough for 2-3). You should taste it at least once when you are in PAKISTAN! Service takes a while but that is okay. Better to wait a little for a tasty plate of food.

Ordered nishat special takatak, chicken karahi, fried naan, and malai boti. Takatak was Soo good we all loved it. Only down thing is the wait time. We had to wait for more than an hour to get our order on table. Bill was hand written and incomprehensible.

Located in the midst of old lahore, the ambiance of this eatery reminisces rich food culture of this magnificent city. Upon very strong recommendations, I finally visited Nishat Cafe. Ordered infamous mixed taka tak with fried Naan. Man, it was an experience. One gets to choose his own meat and the age old process of making takatak is so classical. My taste buds thanked me with the first bite of succulent meat wrapped in delectable fried naan. Cherished every bit of my experience. I strongly recommend all foodies to try this eatery and don't mind the environment as one gets vibes of pre 2000 Lahori foods.

Visited for the 1⃣st time on a Saturday at 5 PM, just as they were opening. We were the first to dine on that day. We ordered Mutton Chops TakaTak, Chicken Seekh Kababs, Fried Nans, a Salad platter, and Raita. Our food arrived within 25 minutes, which was impressive. Mutton chops were absolutely delicious. Its gravy was flavourful and the meat was succulent and tender. It was easily enough for 2 to 3 people. Chicken Seekh Kababs were also quite good. Fried Naans was a unique experience. They were nice to eat with Chops. But I still prefer regular fresh Tandoori Naans over it. Salad platter looked fresh and appetizing. Service was friendly and attentive. However, I would suggest that the server provide a detailed bill instead of just stating the total amount verbally. Interiorand ambiance were decent but could benefit from big improvements. Please also improve the parking.
